About Kevin Stumpf – A Life Dedicated to Preservation
As the founder of Kevin Sean Studios, I bring a deep passion for media preservation, history, and storytelling—a passion shaped by my experiences serving in the military, traveling the world, and uncovering forgotten memories. My career began in service, where I developed a strong sense of discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to preserving history, values that now define my approach to digitization, film restoration, and archival preservation.
My travels have taken me across the globe, from historic battlefields to cultural landmarks, museums, and antique shops, where I’ve sought out lost photographs, vintage film reels, and artifacts that tell forgotten stories. Whether trekking through Europe’s historic sites, exploring the rich landscapes of the Middle East, or immersing myself in the cultural heritage of Asia, I have always been drawn to the power of history and the importance of preserving it.
When I’m not restoring old family films, VHS tapes, or historical documents, I find adventure in skydiving over North Carolina, hiking through historic landscapes, and uncovering lost pieces of history in antique malls across the Carolinas. My Private Collection, updated weekly, is a testament to my love for historical photography and film, featuring images and footage I’ve discovered through my travels and preservation work.
For me, Kevin Sean Studios is more than just a business—it’s a mission. A mission to safeguard memories, honor history, and ensure that stories from the past continue to be shared with future generations.
